OUR ROOTS
Cornerstone Church was established by a group of young Indonesian immigrants in 1991 in Sunnyside, Queens. These young Christians were seeking the truth of God while being far away from their homeland. They formed a small prayer group which eventually grew into a community, and this community eventually became a church.
Today, our church is located in Elmhurst, Queens and we strive to represent and serve the community we are planted in. Elmhurst is one of the most diverse places in the United States of America and our mission is to create a safe place for people to meet with God.
